MP Arama opens Sub-county headquarters to ensure centralized point of service delivery

Residents of Nakuru Town West Constituency have a reason to smile following the commissioning of Sub county headquarters in Kapkures Ward by area Member of Parliament Samuel Arama.

The new storey-building was constructed through the Nakuru Town West NG-CDF kitty under the patronage of MP Arama.

It will host the Deputy County Commissioner’s office, Assistant County Commissioners’ offices, Departmental offices and other essential services.

This, the MP says is a way of bringing services closer to the residents.

” We want a situation where when a resident has an issue with administration he or she can come here and have all the issues sorted under centralized point” he said.

Residents in the area expressing relief with the opening of the new Sub county headquarters in the area.

They say this is a boost to the security of the area.

“This is a great a move by area MP for the people.We know it will go a long way in bossting security in this area” said one of the locals.

On his part, Arama who has declared that he will be defending his seat on a Jubilee ticket within Azimio la Umoja movement, reiterated the importance of security.

Arama noted that no single development can be achieved when there is no security.

He says, his office will continue working closely with security team to ensure maximum security for the constituents.

“Security is top on my development agenda. Nothing can happen without proper security mechanisms.As area MP I will do all that I can to ensure security for the people” he stated.

On the recent issue of bodaboda operators being harrassed by police in the recent crackdown, Arama called on the police to be humane.

He was quick to note that not all bodaboda operators are rogue but just a few elements.

Already the MP has vowed to aid bodaboda operators in Nakuru Town West meet the minimum requirements so that they can comply with the government directive.

Over 3,000 Form One students to get full term scholarship from Nakuru West NG-CDF kitty

Under the Patronage of area MP Samuel Arama, a total of 1,200 student joining Boarding schools will benefit from the program with full term fee paid.

Nakuru Town West NG-CDF kitty will catter for full first term fee for students joining Form one this month.

Under the Patronage of area MP Samuel Arama, a total of 1,200 student joining Boarding schools will benefit from the program with full term fee paid.

Another 2,000 students joining Day Secondary schools will also get Kshs.10,000 each.

Speaking to this writer just a day after issuance of the cheques to those joining Boarding schools, Arama said this is inline with the government policy on 100 percent transition from primary to secondary.

While noting high level of poverty in the area, the vocal Nakuru Lawmaker said education was the only way to save the situation.

“I saw how parents were suffering and I decided that all Form ones must be in school by paying their first term fee through the NG-CDF kitty”  he said.

He prides in the program as the only Legislator who has ensured education for all.

The Lawmaker once again challenged national government to put more effort so that the 100 percent transition policy can be successful.

Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama has strongly differed with Jubilee  over what he termed is issuance of nomination certificates to unpopular aspirants in various wards in Nakuru Town West constituency.

Speaking at Nakuru West NG-CDF offices on Tuesday during the issuance of Form One Boarding bursary cheques, the Jubilee Law maker cited Shabaab ward where as per opinion poll carried out, James Garang was popular but the party instead handed certificate to Jimmy Wagakabu.

Arama also questioned why in ODM party in Kaptembwa ward decided to give certificate to Peter Kajwang instead of George Okoth whom opinion poll showed he was leading.

The vocal Nakuru Legislator who is serving his second term furiously urged the two parties to rethink of the decision they had taken in the various wards in Nakuru Town West constituency.

He slammed at a section of individuals in Nakuru Town West who have tendency of rushing to political parties head offices in Nairobi with ‘tribal tags’ in order to be favoured saying such is uncalled for.

“Some people are busy using their ‘god fathers’ to deny the right people who are popular to get chance in leadership which is not right” said Arama.

Arama called on residents of Nakuru Town West not to focus on parties but elect individuals who are development focused and ready to serve the society.

He vowed to work and support Garang as well as Okoth in their political career since they were the people’s choice in Shabaab and Kaptembwa wards respectively.

Arama has on many occasions reminded locals that the development being realized in Nakuru Town West constituency was as a result of his good relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Jubilee government.

Parents with Form one students in Nakuru Town West constituency have a reason to smile after area MP Samuel Arama vowed to pay their full term one fee.

Speaking when he hosted a Thanksgiving event after receiving Jubilee party primaries certificate, Arama assured parents that the NG-CDF kitty will ensure all Form one students are in school.

He added, that this is in line with government policy on 100 percent transition.

The second term serving Lawmaker once again revealed that the gesture was not political but as a leader he was determined to ensure all children are in school.

“I want to state here categorically that all Form one students in this constituency must get bursary for full first term.Let parents buy other necessities but the NG-CDF office will cater for first term fee” he said.

The vocal Legislator also hitting at Deputy President William Ruto and his allies over what he termed is trying to interfere with Nakuru Town West politics.

According to him,Nakuru Town West residents fully back Azimio.

“I want to tell Deputy President William Ruto and Susan Kihika that let them focus on their political career and stop trying to interfere with Nakuru Town West politics” said Arama.

Arama also used the moment to drum support for Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya and Presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga.

He reminded his constituents that Azimio was the way to go and that the coalition would form the next government.

“We are in Azimio and everyone has agreed that is the way to go.In Nakuru Town West there is no politics of division and no one should try to bring such. We want leaders who can deliver” he said.
