No member of outlawed groupings will be allowed to operate in Nakuru, Nakuru County Commissioner Erastus Mbui has warned.

According to Mbui, over 40 members of outlawed groupings in Nakuru County have been arrested in the month of September and arraigned.

He was addressing media in Nakuru on Thursday during a stakeholders meeting on validation of County Rapid Action Plan for preventing and countering violent extremism.

The commissioner called on youths to shun involvement in criminal activities adding that  the government will not negotiate such.

“The criminal groupings are a challenge to security but the government is on top of things and no member will be allowed to operate in Nakuru” he said.

Members outlawed ‘Confirm group’ have been engaging in retaliatory fights with splinter groups emerging from estates, Flamingo, Kwa Rhonda, Kivumbini and London, baying for each other’s blood.
