Flamboyant law scholar Professor Luchiri Wajackoyah has advised Tanzanian bongo flava artist Diamond Platnumz to reconsider full reconciliation with his estranged dad, and earn blessings.
Just like Wajackoyah’s dad, Tito Olilo Jakoya, Diamond’s father, Abdul Juma is accused of abandoning his family and did not spend a cent on the now successful singer.
The lawyer is mourning the death of his father, who passed on on December 21, a day after pinpointing and breaking the ground where his house was to be built.
“My life is at its best when my late dad gave me a piece of land as my inheritance and a portion for my mum,” stated Wajackoyah on his Facebook page.
He said his life was at its best when his late dad gave him a piece of land as his inheritance and a portion to his mum and asked him to build him a house.
Divorce, he said, is a terrible thing and his parent’s togetherness has given him a new lease of hope adding that in God nothing is impossible.
“My joy was to attend to his wishes but he passed two days before. My mum has taken it very kindly and tears streamed when she accepted to attend the burial,” he said.
The law scholar, who has 6 law degrees and several diplomas from the United Kingdom and the US, was once a street boy in Nairobi after his parents divorced while he was 3 years old.
According to Professor Wajackoyah, the late politician John Joseph Kamotho stepped in and paid for his school fees and after clearing his studies, he joined the police force.
Professor Wajackoyah would later flee the country because he was a person of interest in the murder of Cabinet Minister Robert Ouko 31 years ago.
He dedicated his time in exile studying law. Upon graduating, he moved to the US where he lectured extensively on Law and Economics, Human Rights, Comparative Constitutional and International Law.
