Nakuru fast-food giant Chicken Baristo is closing down its three outlets for one month, starting today as the hospitality industry grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic effects.

In a notice to customers, the management said they would be breaking for a month-long Ramadhan holiday from April 13 to May 13, 2021, highlighting the outlet’s Halal compliance duty.

“This is to enable us to perform our religious obligation of fasting, the fourth pillar of Islam,” stated Mr Bashir Abdulrahman, the proprietor.

The outlets are located at Hass Petrol Station on the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway, on Club Road near Gilanis Supermarket and on Oginga Odinga Road near Central Police Station.

Mr Bashir said the restaurants had turned the go-to outlets for quality takeaway services, with a taste of love to customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“At Chicken Baristo, we strive to exceed our customers’ expectations and provide the best experiences possible,” he stated while thanking his staff for the hard work.

Chicken Baristo apologized to its customers for any inconveniences the move might have caused and looked forward to a continued service once Ramadhan is over.
